Sharing is caring!

Earlier in the year we curated a fantastic list of 2016’s most amazing 16 female bloggers. Women that are out there totally rocking it!  I felt that it was time to introduce to y’all some amazing male bloggers. The fellows listed below are super friendly, fun and a little bit sassy at times. These guys are great to connect with on those all important social medias- Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc and most importantly are generally nice people.

Michael- The Bemused Backpacker

Michael’s a charge nurse by vocation with an interest in emergency nursing and travel medicine. He runs a fabulously honest blog focusing on responsible tourism and travel medicine. He has one of the most, if not THE most, comprehensive travel medicine related blog out there. On a side note his also a published author of real paper books.

Michael and I travelled together on an amazing adventure in the Philippines. I’m still recovering from all the laughter.

Ryan- Lost Boy Memoirs

Ryan may occasionally look like a lost hippy met with a tiny viking but don’t let that fool you. Ryan is a beautifully articulate writer, who’s up for just about anything to get the best story. You’ll be mesmerised by his stunning photography skills and his ability to make friends with just about anyone. Oh and that epic beard that other men seem to love to touch.

Ryan and I travelled around Myanmar together.

Chris – Aussie on the Road

Chris offers a truly wonderful Australian outlook on life. His always up for fun, dressing in drag for cheap drinks and not holding back. You won’t find any sugar coating here! Over the last few years his written a Chinese sitcom, been on safari, fallen in love a few times, fallen out of love an equal number of times, been aimed at by a sniper, fallen asleep on distant beaches, drank a lot of beer, done a lot of crazy stuff, and loved every minute of it.

Chris and I first met during TBEX Bangkok when we double dated at a speed networking session.

Matt- It’s Worth a Shot

Matt is a travel photographer and so ridiculously nice. His a passionate landscape photographer who’s more than happy to share his tips and tricks. You’ll find him and his infamous blue bag travelling around.
If you need help with your travel photography Matt runs a series of workshops both face to face and online via correspondence.

Matt and I travelled to Raja Ampat. Take a look at his wonderful work here.

Gordon – Contented Traveller

Gordon is a part of the hilarious team over at Contented Traveller. Not to be classified as a seniors travel blog, Gordon and partner in crime Paula live a better travel life then most 20year old travellers. You’ll notice that they totally immerse themselves in the very culture of the places visited.

Shane – The Travel Camel

Shane has been doing this whole solo travel thing for quite awhile now. He is by far one of my favourite people to have a chat with on things travel and more importantly on how to be a responsible traveller/travel blogger. You’ll commonly findShane hosting The Road Less Travelled (#TRLT) Twitter chat. This is a lively and inspiring travel Twitter chat that you should be getting involved in.

If you are heading off to TBEX Stockholm this year you’ll be lucky enough to hear Shane speak.

Potpot- Travel Trilogy

Potpot is so adorable. He is such a bubble of happiness, health and all about good food. If you need a pick up then Potpot can provide. Also one of the best huggers that I’ve come across in a long time. You’ll find interesting insights into luxury and backpacker places on his blog Travel Trilogy. Do yourself a favour and follow along the Facebook page.

Will- The Broke Backpacker

Will is doing the most amazing trip from the UK to PNG. His 100% passionate about real adventures; freezing peaks and steaming jungles, crashing waves and raging rivers. You get the idea. His a whole heap of fun, with not a lot of money. Will is one of my favourites to cyber stalk on Snapchat.

Nathan– I Dreamed of this

As a young boy fNathan dreamed of a life full of food, culture, adventure, and most importantly, freedom. His taken some big steps since those little dreams and turned them into his reality. Now based in the Philippines he offers an insightful view on living in the Philippines. S if you’re after some great reading on a confused American in the Philippines than Nathan is your guy.
