The best cafes to find great coffee in Kathmandu

by Jean Cheney | Apr 6, 2019 | Nepal, Travel

Kathmandu has a plethora of cafes, as just like Melbourne these open and close their doors with as much frequency as you changing your knickers. It’s near impossible to keep track of what’s happening in the Nepal coffee scene. I spent over a week in...

Can't lie but I'm kinda impressed with what this year has been. An ever guessing game of what the fuck, can I do this or should I learn this?

I've done a lot, ate a lot and drank even more. Lets not even talk about all the online shopping I've done.

So cheers for following along and joining me in a final farewell and get the fuck out to 2020! Let me know in the comments below what one skill you're glad to never see again.

It's that most magical time of the year where I lo It's that most magical time of the year where I look back at where I've been, what I've seen and kinda achieved for the year. Seemingly 2020 was the year that I explored new beverages around the world. For that short period when we could freely travel. Being a travel blogger isn't about travelling the most, the longest or the hardest. For me it's about creating great memories with amazing people along the way.

2020 has been tough and this Christmas will be extra tough for a lot of us. So this holiday season if you need a laugh, a virtual drinking buddy or something to just chat about that isn't the 'rona or lockdown situations than reach out to me. I'm not going anywhere and am more than happy for chats, text conversations and generally here for frivolity.

If there's one little thing you should do for yourself in 2020 its a visit to @sault_daylesford.
To sit in and enjoy the scrumptious locally sourced and produced food. A few fine wines and a walk around the lakeside.
Now this is not a budget friendly option by any stretch of the imagination but its important to treat yo'self after such a tough year. It was the perfect place for the first girls get together in 2020!

Sun's out and the emotional guns are out. Its been a long time since I've had an entire summer in Australia, and I'm really looking forward to a decent break and exploring the local beaches with this little pupper (oh Milly and James too!).

I'm looking forward to long walks, long glasses of wine and an overdosing of locally produced ice cream.

In this last month of 2020 what are you looking forward to?

Thankful // ❤ 2020 has been a shocker of a year Thankful // ❤
2020 has been a shocker of a year for me and for so many of you.
As I look back at the craziness that I've done, the beautiful people I've met along the way and the general fascination at where this little travel blog of mine has taken me over the past 7 years.
Thank you to the community who supports me.
Thank you for the brands who have and continue to support me (extra shout out to those who pay on time!).

🔮 sadly I don't have a crystal ball to see what 2021 is going to bring us but cheers the dreams of more travels, great coffee and meeting new friends.

Found one bite at a time.
A visually delightful journey of some of the things I recently ate (holidays calories don't count right?) on our Port Fairy adventures.
If you're looking for a beach side town to eat yourself silly in, then @iamportfairy is the place to be!

Just remember y'all that covid times means things are a little different - so make that booking, confirm your booking and for the love of sweet baby cheeses turn up!
